Folded 242/252 wake tower.

I always wondered the capability of the folding wake tower and today I found my answer.
 
The 2017 Bimini seems to go on easier then the 2018 or later in the posted video it doesn't need to be tugged over the back and no solar panel to mess with

If you need to tighten the tower base plates use a really long extension about 18'' and a deep well socket 13/16 . Light up the inside of the hull with a shop light use a mirror to see the location of the nuts reach up and tighten the 3 bolts do the starboard side first the port back nut is difficult due to the gas fill hose that one was really loose . It starts to make a knocking sound when loose and you can see the base twist slightly when in choppy water. If you do long road trips they tend to loosen up from all the road and wind vibration

Fantastic advise!
 
Don't forget to put the shipping brackets (3) in to hold the tower down while moving/ towing the boat. We fold our tower down on our '18 242x any time we are towing more than 1hr away from home.
