Saw two of these giant ships carrying millions of dollars worth of yachts, wonder if they are in bound for the Fort Lauderdale boat show early November? ... Or maybe this is normal in South Florida?. I'm down here for work.

Might be boats from the Mediterranean. Some people send their boats there for the summer, than back to South Florida for the winter.

Its normal, apart from the fact it is normally a Dockwise ship.. I worked in the Yacht Industry in Fort Lauderdale, it is common for the "smaller" boats like those to be transported to the Med in the summer for the season and then return to do the Florida/Caribbean season during the winter months.

What is this? A boat for ants?

I could not believe my eyes when I first saw one arrive in Port Everglades... very cool to see. I wonder how extensive the routine maintenance/upkeep is considering they submerge it in saltwater every time they make port?
