Last summer I upgraded my sound system in my 2023 Yamaha 195S. I purchased new wetsound amp, wetsound speakers, etc. After several communications with users on this site, I was still not able to get the Blue on/off remote to power on the amp.

My work around for the summer was to just connect the remote wire to the battery with a toggle switch. Obviously, that was inconvenient and annoying, so my question what should I do about it? I am guessing that maybe my Fusion ms-ra70nsx is a bad unit. Even when testing the amps on the blue wire, I was getting around 10amps so it was just below the necessary amperage to turn on the sub.

Should I buy a new unit to try this Spring?

Which brand would buy that is interchangeable with this Fusion ms-ra70nsx unit?

garmin tech support any help? i'd reach out to them before replacing.
maybe they can tell you what the output of the blue wire should be. or maybe they instruct you on how to return it to them for testing?
if they are no help, you could just find a switched power source near the amp? that would at least take toggle switching out of the process.
hopefully you get it worked out before the season starts up.

I have looked through their website and they literally make it impossible to reach out to them. So I kind of gave up on that option.
