So it rained all night and morning here. I failed to remember to put the poles in the cover but thankfully it was pulled tight I didn't have pooling. I got in and found the cover leaked a little. With my driveway sloped down the water collected in the bow floor. How do I get the water out? See the pic below! Lots of water came out..love the front loader!!

Shop vac? Maybe siphon with a garden hose?

Sorry, I thought you were asking how to get the water off the cover. Looks like you have it figured out already.

Good ideas @itsdgm but apparently did not involve sufficient power tools to actually be tried. :)

Love it! Of course, were I to try something like that I would probably wind up dropping the fool thing...

I'd love to have a small front loader like that, I think I could find a different use every day. Now if it only had a backhoe as well.

Gotta love "outside the box" thinking!

I do find a million ways to use the front loader but I do wish I would have gotten the backhoe. It was an additional 8k....hard to talk the wife in to that! ;)

My push mower is not even self propelled.

Drill a hole in your bucket and mount a ball, it is excellent for moving the boat around if needed! I wish I had one, but that is how I see the yards moving them all the time with a similar front loader. Remember the poles next time, water weighs a bunch, as does snow...it can flat out rip your cover if it pools too much!

I generally use my three point hitch since it also is hydraulic but I needed some more height to get the water out thus using the bucket did the job.

I am generally pretty particular in getting the poles put in but just plain forgot. I have seen covers ripped to shreds because of that and woke up freaked in the morning I had forgot!

Oh man, I bet you did freak when you realized it, I would have too. I drove by PD today to see if I could see my boat and that it was covered. I could not see it in their yard, they may have it indoors...but that was my worry!

I hope they do have it inside Mel. The rain I drove thru going to work this morning was intense and I know they got it the same band of storms at Phil Dill.
