I have a Yamaha 212 Ltd S. It came with a GPS which seems to work well. I have the following two questions:

1. Is there a way to change the chart to HeadsUp mode? If yes, how?
2. I live at Lake of the Ozarks. I would like to put on the water gas stations into the GPS as waypoints. Can I do this and how?

No unfortunately, the Connext unit doesn't have the processing power to do that.

You can update the chart data on your Connext which gives a lot more info:


That might give you what you want. I don't think the Connext remembers waypoints after turning off, but haven't tried that yet. I have the Navionics app on my phone and compared the Connext to it side by side and find it's identical except for the extra info in the app. I doubt I'll renew the app for next year as the Connext does a good enough job now.
