Another question:

If you have the rod holder mount on the grill, how does it come off so you can stow it in the bag? Are the little legs it comes with still on the grill so that you can either use it with the legs or the rod holder mount?
The mount folds to the side but it’s still there. It would be a real hassle to remove every time. I bought a generic bag so can’t comment on how the magma one works. I set the grill on its back in the bag instead of the bottom. It’s about the same height and depth and that way it sits flat.

There are folding legs permanently attached at each corner for the ground or a table. They hold it high enough that the folded rod mount does not interfere with it sitting flat.
