Good size lake, pretty quiet on the weekdays and busy (not tonka busy) on the weekends. Zorbaz is a great lunch spot and dinner at Ernies is always nice (also fun sand bar just down the southern shore line from Ernies to beach and chill with the kids). Huge rock circle in the middle of the lake, it's marked, but never head straight across at night. If it's a windy day there are plenty of bays to pull into and relax in. You can also go north on the lake and into a chain system that will connect you with a handful of additional lakes, slow, but fun to explore.
used to vacation there, most summers, as a kid. Grandview Lodge. A buddy of mine has a cabin at Causeway on Gull - took my old 212X up there for a week, in 2019. Great time.
In general, Gull Lake is a great family vacation spot. If you want to fish, I strongly recommend a guide.
