Head compartment trim coming loose?

Dont know about the newer models, but the head compartment trim comes loose in the older models and is a pain. You get things out and it flops around and you curse and hit it back into place and repeat this process over and over. Buying new trim may help
for a while but the problem comes back. I fixed mine last weekend with 3m auto body moulding double sided tape. Perfect width to keep hidden and it holds like crazy.

Thanks for the idea on the 3m tape ... I have had this same problem with both of my Yamaha boats.
