I dropped tire pressure down to 12lbs and I still need an inch or 2. I cant seem to find a smaller tire that will work. Aside from cutting/trimming my garage header do you guys have any other ideas?

Thanks!!!

how are you trying to get it in the garage? Is it hooked up to the hitch on your car? Pushing it in on its own? Most of the time it requires lowering the tongue as low as possible. If you’re pushing it in, Try using a floor jack with the tongue only a few inches above the ground. If on the hitch, try getting a drop hitch as low as possible.

flipping the axle might help too if that’s possible on your setup.

anyway, good luck, hope you figure it out.

If this is for winter storage then take off the wheels & use dollies/casters.
If it’s for every time you go out then start hacking on that garage entry.

Edit: preferably with an engineer if you’re trimming headers much!

This is what I did (2017 Ar190) to get it in the basement garage. Zoom in on the Jack placement. It's a tight squeeze but It fit.20201220_001908.jpg

Thanks for all the info and great ideas. One way or another I'm getting it in the garage today. It has been sitting outside in 27 degree weather for 2 nights now. Hopefully the dealer blew the water out good after they lake tested it.
Hopefully will update my post later with success. Thanks again.

Got it in the garage finally. Thank you Yjander! Dropping the wake tower a couple more inches did the trick.
On a side note can someone tell me what this piece is for? I found it in the ski 20201220_162353.jpglocker

Two things for the future. Get a drop hitch that drops the tongue as low as you can without scraping and remove the Bimini from the mounts.

With each of these, you should be able to clear the header with a half inch to spare.

Then over the winter, if you or someone in your family is small, skinny and willing, they can shimmy on their back into the two rear storage areas and adjust the nut out that determines the length of the tower’s safety cables.

Use blue locktite on the nuts to prevent their inevitable loosening and falling off they’re gonna do anyway.

Those are the support poles for your cover. The white straps go to the front cleats and the black go to the rear cleats
Anti pooling pools for outsde storage

They're for the shipping cover. The mooring cover has two poles shipping has one.

I purchased a AR 190 last year and discovered that the boat is actually a tiny bit taller than the 83.5" Yamaha says about the trailer/ boat height. I ran down the list of options to fix the problem such as lowering tire pressure, buy shorter profile tires, pushing the boat with the hitch lowered, etc. I ended up removing the facia board from the top of the garage opening and got the boat into the garage. Then I went with the spendy option of buying a 3" taller garage door panel and rebuilt the header 3 1/4" higher. The boat fits fine and can be backed into the garage by the tow vehicle. This cost around $1200. Ouch. Then I read about using the connectors to lengthen the wire cables. Sigh....
Prices may vary in your area. Looking forward to spring!
There are some things I wish Yamaha would fix. Like the trailer's front roller that scratches the boat and ensuring that the boat would fit in a 7' garage. The Shorelander trailer could have been modified to set the boat a little lower.
I installed the cobra system. It seems really well made out of metal, not plastic. That should be standard too.

You covered a lot of ground in that post!
If you haven’t heard of the stoltz rollers on here do a search and get one ASAP, it will save your hull.

That's been my biggest concern. My garage has a stone front so not option for us. Fitting in the garage was the biggest factor in going with a 19'. Otherwise w would have mov d to at least a 21'. We'll know soon enough.

Remove the bimini from the tower mounts and get either the lowest hitch you can get before the trailer scrapes or just get an adjustable hitch.

With those two, it should fit a standard 7’ door with a very small amount of room to spare.

Eventually for you, backing out the tower cable nuts will help drop the tower a touch more. But doing that requires a very small person who’s willing to be on their back in the dark inside the port and starboard storage spaces.

Or a sawzall. But let's not go there.

190s fit in almost ALL standard garages you just need to spend some time

The only way I could get my 190 in the garage was unhooked from the truck, lower the trailer all the way down, unscrewing the tower light then push it in. My driveway is on a hill so I would back the trailor tires into the garage, chuck the wheels, then un hook from the truck and push it in the rest of the way. Know way it would fit hooked to the truck.
