I was trying to remove scuffs from the exterior of my boat and ended up causing scratches on the paint. Does anyone have any ideas on how to repair this? Can I just use polish?

I have a 2021 Yamaha 252S

Have a pro touch that up - you need buffing compound to rebuild and then you'll need to polish and blend the polish in.

Would anyone use this??

You could try it... but that appears more for smooth gel coat that has just oxidized.

Your main goal, in unscrewing what you've done to the finish, is to remove the extremely small scratches you've added to the polish on your gel goat. Usually that means a buffer at the right speed and the right compounds.
