Maybe some type of diagnostic plug ? Take a look at the blue wire does it have any writing on it ? Hook up a meter do you get 12.6 V the wire looks like a heavier than normal gauge wire

@Scottie posted a link with a wiring diagram to the 2013 212x

maybe PM him to see where he pulled the info from see if they have it for your model

The only black and blue wire was for a fuel pump on that diagram . Does the boat run ?

Yes that’s the strange part everything functions normally I almost think it’s a speaker wire maybe to add a sub at one point? It must be something new to a 2019 so I’m hoping some other 2019 owners can reference theirs.

Last page of the service manual has supposedly all of the wiring, colors, and connections. The only thing listed that might match your picture is a 2 pin connector with a blue and black wire, but it is listed as connecting to the "fuel pump module". I don't think that's your issue, as you'd surely know if your fuel pump wasn't receiving power.

I have a buddy with you boat, he believes there is a second connection in his dangling where you describe this one. He said he will look tonight when he gets home and report back..

I know a lot of cars use the same wiring harness and as accessories are added they are just plugged into the harness. Wondering if Yamaha does the same thing and that plug would go to the fuel pump on a twin engine model.

I woke up with this on my mind. Somehow I came up with Center Left. That's what my audio system shows when balancing speakers. Front Left (FL), Center Left (CL), Rear Left (RL). I would check under the helm at the wires for your sound system and see how those cables are marked at that point. That might help identify this one.(?) I have mini speakers built into my tower which are the center speakers. Maybe you have that too.

CL-2 would be the courtesy light in the top of the port cutout of a SX195. The same harness is used for both the AR and SX versions of the 195.

OK makes sense now we are getting somewhere my courtesy light works and actually the only courtesy light I have is behind the captains chair on my AR where the two cupholders are. Are you saying there is another courtesy light somewhere?

There is another courtesy light just on the SX195 model that the breakout in question goes to it.

Same part number as the existing courtesy light. I'm assuming the AR doesn't have the cutout with the cupholders, so it might not make sense, but it would be very easy to install the additional light and just plug it in, since the wiring is obviously already there.

I checked my '19 AR 195 last night and I could not find a harness like that.

All very strange, Glad we figured out it was for a courtesy light on the SX 195 because apparently they have a cut out and we do not on our 2019 AR195’s on the port side.

They did a good job of trying to hide it. It is ziptied going up towards the tower on the port side in the battery compartment. You can feel the wire run around the lip of that compartment coming from the battery switch location heading towards the bow and then going to the port side wall.
