Hodges Marine Product Purchase Review

So I ordered new trim tabs this week and I have ordered stuff in the past from Hodges Marine as they usually have great prices but was a little disappointed this time as I'm pretty sure these trim tabs are not new. Both my prior purchases were fine I have not decided yet if I should try and return these or just keep them and chalk it up as a loss but overall be weary of buying from them.

No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night......

Unacceptable! For a new purchase. They should be in the 1/2 price bin and advertised as previously owned or demo's. Can't believe they would try to pass that over as new. And I can't believe who ever mounted them previously, used a spacing washer, non stainless? at a mounting point. Should have arrived with peel off plastic on them. Would not believe it if I had not seen it.

Well I will take my negative remarks back. I emailed them they sent a return slip within 24 hours and shipped a new set out the next day and they arrived today their customer service was quick to respond I was very surprised in a good way.
