Good as long as you dont have boat traffic with wakes. I cant see them holding up with the boats bouncing around

Why not?

Rafting up with others is easily one of the best ways to socialize. Float around with a drink, while the kids play and wear themselves out. It's the like the backyard, but way way way more awesomer!

We don't have any friends really. Work Kids, Parents, Relatives, etc. None of them boat owners. No time to have those type of relationships, at least right now. Although we are the kid house, with a boat and a pool, etc. So we have herds of the girls teenage friends over all the time and take them out every weekend.

I get that.

We're working hard to make more boat friends this season. It's difficult to make friends as an adult, especially adult friends with boats.

It's on our list for certain. We have it on the calendar, but haven't reserved a site yet.

Dad lives in Charleston, so we've considered it outside the meetup anyway. It's not an absurd distance away (like FL, or MI), and we would have a huge group of like minded individuals to hang with.

Problem is that school starts on Monday after for us, it's the 10yr olds birthday (11 on the 28th), and it's a 5 hr tow home.

We're probably 90% in at this point.
