So my horn doesn't work anymore. I have an air horn for the time being but was thinking a drop in replacement is cheap enough. Here's where the problem comes in, they no longer make the one I have and everything else that's available that I can tell is slightly smaller. Mine is 5 inches between mounting screw holes and the norm from what I see is 4.5 inches. So using a new one, I'll have to enlarge the hole where the horn sets into the hull and half ass the old chrome cover and only utilize one screw to hold the horn in. My boat is a 2008 ar230. Has anyone else found a solution yet? Picture is of the old horn if anyone has a link to something similar.

Here is a an old thread from 2014 on replacing a AR 230 horn and although Amazon doesn't carry it anymore, West Marine has that part number. Overall length is 6.125 inches but holes are closes and probably close to 5" as your original.

They, like everyone else have the part number but Unfortunately not the part! Nobody seems to make that size anymore.
