I have just replaced my 4 stock speakers with the Polk db651s and added a Clarion XC1410 amp. I am very happy with it and sounds a lot better, but now i have the bug and want to add even more... Again, i am a novice, so some of these questions are dumb... but that hasnt stopped me from asking in the past on other things i have done...

I am thinking of adding 2 cabin speakers as many others have done here... My question is, is this possible with my current setup?... I know the XC1410 only has speaker outputs for 4 speakers. (see pic)

It is possible to wire directly into the cut wire from my head unit? (se pic below)

Is it possible to wire multiple speakers into amp speaker outputs?

Or am i just screwed unless i get a new head unit or amp?

I do not want to have to buy a new head unit of new amp... Any thought are greatly appreciated...

Thanks as always...

Is the amp 2 ohm stable? If so you could run 2 sets of the rear channel at 2 ohm and then the fronts at 4 ohm.

EDIT: Looks like it is so if you were to run the 4 cockpit speakers on the rear channel at 2 ohm each speaker would have 32.5 watts RMS and the fronts would run at 4 ohm at 50 watts rms.

So with the amp above, would i just wire the new speakers into the rear speaker ouputs?

i.e.. front left and front right speakers stay wired as is and ... right rear and NEW right cabin get wired into the amp right rear speaker output (and left rear and NEW left cabin get wired into left rear speaker output)?

Yep. That is correct.
