How do I add a second amp to power a different set of speakers?

Adding a jl m400/4 to power two additional speakers. Already have an 700/5 for 4 speakers and a sub. Clarion gr10bt Receiver.
1) Do I splice the blue remote wire and run one to each amp to turn them on?
2) Do I just split the 4 channel preamp outputs from the receiver with 4 Y splitters (preamp output is 2V) (input is 100mv-4v on each amp)?

I have two batteries and ran a new set of wires to the other batteries. I spliced the blue wire and hooked up RCA splitters for the sub.

I have the power to the amps side worked out using a distribution box- just trying to figure out connecting both amps to one receiver

Looks like the m400 has preouts on it, wouldn’t you just chain them together?
