How does Yamaha determine tier 1

After I put my deposit on a AR195 my dealer let’s me know that with my credit score at 750 I would get a 5% rate to 6%. Does anyone know where your credit have to be to quality for the 3.99 special rate?

I was over 800 when I got the Yamaha loan at 3.99%.

Gotta be over 800 I was told. Had a 775 when I bought and didn't qualify for the special rates

I was 820 and received Tier 1. 775 seems like it SHOULD qualify.

Sometimes the dealer can call the Yamaha financial and try to get them to give you the better rate. Worth a call to the finance manager to see if they tried that yet.
