how many people bought a warranty and used or needed it? What model boat?

I'm ending out my second season. 68hrs currently on the boat. Got the warranty as part of the financing deal. Have had one issue with an intake grate, warrantied claim denied (understandably). Otherwise no reason to need to use it.

i used it on a jetski, warranty paid $7400 which was blue book a the time, total repairs $8400, the ski was always run by my wife so never abused. motor let go at 75hrs i changed the oil every 20hrs, manufacturer recomendation was every 50, so i does help. i bought my 07 ar230 in 2014 dealer offered waranty but i didnt buy it, , i use my boat almost every weekend lake and ocean, never had a problem.

I got 3yrs included, bought 2 more. . . Used it a handful of times for gel coat repair of stress cracks on thru hull fittings. The $200 out of pocket I spent to extend was justified IMHO.

I used my 5 year several times. They replaced my gauges (were fogging up), broken ski locker (multiple times), cracked front seat, 3 check engine lights for 2 or 3 O2 sensors (Happened right before warranty period up), various lights, blown speakers, added the clarion amp kit, that they offered for a short time, replace head unit, replaced trailer bearing buddies (3), replaced jammed trailer jack, unstuck my shower sprayer a couple times. There is probably more I am forgetting...

They did all that but they wont cover the remote on the stern that shorts out my head unit. Just unplugged and use my phone now to control music.
