I need some advise....

Dang that's a heck a drive for an oil change tutorial but I'm glad you got to visit. Maybe next time down this way get out on the water with us . I need surfing tips lol. Did you come down during football season and get to experience the atmosphere or a game?

@bobbie I don't want to scare you away due to the heat and humidity, there are only stretches of those extremes during the summer. Most days during the summer the temps are in the low 90's with medium humidity which is hot but easily manageable and there is always the chance of an afternoon thunder storm. And when the temps are at their extremes the lake is the perfect place to be to excLike any place you learn to work around the weather. The springs and falls are usually very pleasant 60/70's and winters (assuming we have one which isn't the case this year) are not very cold. I always say here in South Carolina we have 3.5 seasons per year, summer, spring, fall, and a week or two of winter.

If you decide to make a trip to Columbia, the wife (Cindy) and I would be more than happy to show you and your family around town and give you a tour of the lake, that is assuming you don't mind riding in a boat with an outdrive, haha.

Good luck on your search for a new homestead and I will be more than happy to help in any way I can.
