My Ls2000 has plastic tubs that fit under a dashboard lid and the tub has a lip that holds the tub in place. I have had too much weight in the tub and/or age of plastic has caused the lip to crack.

Any ideas on some kind of fiberglass tape/epoxy or other way to repair the lip so that it can withhold weight? See pics

I would use some small 90 degree brackets with short screws or bolts to attach the rim/lip to the tub, and then I would fill the crack with epoxy.

Was going the same. I might use duct tape on the inside epoxy the outside

Maybe 90 degree L aluminum extrusion affixed with screws instead of the plastic lip, then put some sort of padding or rubber backing on the aluminum bottom touching the boat?
