Chewed up some rocks on accident and now the port engine runs well up to 4k rpms, but anything above that rapidly climbs to 8k and struggles to thrust.

Pulled the impeller, pictures below. Are the deformities enough to explain the issues I'm having? Time to replace the impeller or is it something else?

hard to see in the picture but if that leading edge is bent it would be my first guess as to the problem,

You can send them to impros or someone else to have them fixed,

You may consider buying a new set and having the old ones fixed to have as a ready back up so next time you won't have any down time,

.

Ouch!!!! that will disrupt the clean water flow for sure.

yeah that definitely needs to be reshaped or replaced for sure. thats really bad

Agree that is problematic. That said, you may be able to use a pliers and/or channel locks to bend that back into line with the rest of the blade if you are careful. Then clean up any burrs with a file. Right now you are looking at new impellers. What do you have to lose?
