We are headed out to enjoy the water with family tomorrow so I am finally getting around to reinstalling the port pump and taking measurements.

The 010 blade barely fit all the way around the impeller. The 012 would not fit.

Is this too much, too little or just right?

Here are some pictures.

I'm not sure what the answer is but the manual it looks like .6 is the max

Thanks @Scottintexas, it looks like my clearance is less than the spec. Now the question is how much it matters.

Don't know till you run it for sure!

It is nothing new. I feel certain that has been the gap for a while but it may have decreased due to the housing swelling.

We are planning to spend all day on the water between two lakes tomorrow so it will get a good test.

Less gap, if not rubbing constantly, is better anyways I would think. Less gap means less cavitation.
However, you can always check for the corrosion.

no problem at all

My thoughts exactly, good deal.
