With Overton's coupon, thinking to buy an inflatable SUP. They have O'Brien 11'6 and 10'6 at $800 down to $500 and with coupon is $299.

They also have an Airhead for a little less.

Costco has Body Glove for $400

Anyone have one of these and have comment?

The O'brien one for $299 looks like a steal.

$299 is a steal of a deal for that board. I just landed a deal to carry O'Brien in my online store and I can't even buy a $2019 Vapor for under $400 wholesale. The one listed there is a previous year's model. This year's are green.

I've not handled one in person to be able to vouch for its performance or construction. I recommend looking for whatever reviews you can find.

I do have Slingshot iSUP's in stock I can deal on.
They command a bit higher price... but they're some of the nicest constructed inflatable boards I've seen or been on. The fin is also toolless, which is a bonus! Anyone interested, can DM me and I'll shoot then a offer code.

Hey y’all!!! I’m looking to get a couple of inflatable sups by the weekend. Anybody know of a sale? Recommend and brand?

We have a few Slingshot inflatable SUPs. They're great boards. The level of quality is top notch, we used one ourselves last season. I've been impressed with it. We're kind of paddleboard snobs. I've got 5 ridged paddleboards in my garage, but this had earned its spot on the boat. Takes up a lot less space than the ridged ones.

Estimated standard ground shipping puts it in Florida by Friday. I'd guarantee I could drop it off first thing Monday morning to give it the best chance. Message me if you're interested and I can let you know what we can do on a discount and the potential if upgrading shipping for guaranteed arrival before the weekend.

I am looking to get 2 so I am thinking of going a little less expensive?

Since I have a pro’s ear....... What’s the difference between your board and say one I can pick up for ~$400. And will the difference be noted by a complete novice ?

I can't speak for every manufacturer out there, but Slingshot in particular is highly concerned with offering products they can warranty because having higher quality means less need for warranty claims. The negative is higher manufacturing costs... what they aimed for with the crossbreed is something durable, light weight, and that performs well. However, to be frankly honest, they haven't given me a vast amount of info on just what exactly makes it better or as great as it is. I wish I knew more.

It is hard to make heads and tails of all the differences though, because they all claim similar things. "Drop stitch construction"... yadda yadda etc... My sister wanted a cheap inflatable board she could easily transport in her car and ended up with a board she can't stand up on, it was never rigid or stable enough. Her's might be the exception? The Slingshot board is a vast improvement.

Whatever direction you pursue, I would say to find a well reviewed board or seak out first hand experience like you're doing here if you can. If you are interested in these particular ones I'll make you the best deal I can. Which for these boards will be in the $650 range.

Avoid Airhead. I have (had) 4 of their inflatables, and after 2 years 3 of them have already burst at the seams. (And they were rarely used and stored properly).

We bought the first one in 2016, seen in the avatar. We added another later that year. We use the larger SUP, Explorer, more often when we only bring one. These are very well built, though a bit higher than you wanted to spend, but these boards are so easy to set up and stow. The hand pump is OK but a 12 volt high pressure pump is better to use to about 10-11 psi and finish with the hand pump to 13-15psi.
The Sportsman is nice with all the Scotty mounts for rod holders and other equip. Inflatable Paddle Boards: Blow Up SUPs | ISLE Surf & SUP

I also recommend the Isle inflatable SUP's. Mine is 6 years old and going strong. On the flip side, I bought a Jimmy Styks inflatable from Costco for 1/2 the price of the ISLE and it only last 2 seasons before splitting at a seam.

I ended up getting 2 from @J-RAD

Just hoping that Florida stays open this weekend so we can go be distant from society :)

Glad you purchased local, within the group that is. I threw this together so I could fish from it. A couple of rod holders screwed to a coleman cooler. I bungee it to d-rings on the board. I can sit on the cooler and use it to hold tackle, bait, a few cold ones. You can really sneak up on fish with a sup.

Just had one of my kid size Airhead Isup boards burst at a seam. That is 3 failures out of 4 after only 2 years.

We're in the process of establishing an account with Airhead. I guess I won't be promoting their inflatable paddleboards...

They've got a great 12 volt pump (high volume) that I have hard-wired into my boat (and my last boat) for blowing up tubes and the floating island. Not enough pressure to blow up a SUP to completion, but it would get it started. Not sure if you would be getting access to all of their products, but I do recommend that one. Actually, I think my island might be airhead, too. - Airhead Gangplank. It has lasted 2 seasons with good results, so far.

They make a lot of great products. The gang planks are well known, the big mable tubes, ropes, beginner wakeboards, and they're also associated with the kwik tek brand that sells the tower mounted skier down flags. I'm really looking forward to offering many of their products. We'll be a bit selective in what we choose to list.

Apparently they're operation in Colorado is dealing with the shutdown, so seeing up our account has been delayed.

The boards from @J-RAD are awesome!! First trip was a success and good time quarantining was had!!7C2C08D1-BCF2-432D-AF45-D68F126632F1.jpeg7C2C08D1-BCF2-432D-AF45-D68F126632F1.jpegBA15FCC3-CB6B-4E05-9CBA-EE7A5D3A0F2B.jpeg02840B9A-639E-4BF7-A2D1-53E2B60BC710.jpeg
