I have read many posts on this but wanted to get some other opinions. Noticed this on one of the intermediate bearings. I did what was suggested by removing the hose and sticking a trimmer down as seeing what the grease looked like. It did not indicate any water in that part. Though to note that that grease is that area is Yamaha grease which is a blueish color.

I'm not seeing any water drip.

I noticed this during the winter and cleaned everything so I could get a better indication. So it started out 100% clean.

I ran the boat at least 2 hours on Thursday and floated for several more and saw nothing everything 100% clean. Yesterday I ran for maybe for a total of 2 hours on and off again and floated several hours when back at the dock checked and these are the pictures. Not the best angles but something. (pictures are more from the bottom side looking up/side. The pic with the grease in one of the holes is towards the bottom unlike the picture shows.)

looks like you added grease with a gun and separated part of the rubber time to be planning for a new one I posted about checking the grease with a trimmer string and how to add gear lube or grease without damaging the rubber by not using a grease gun.

Thanks. It's been awhile since I've added anything to it. Last time was maybe a pump when I felt the tube tighten.
I am assuming that replacing the you are referring to the whole thing where you have to move the engine forward ? @Cobra Jet Steering LLC

yes just replace the bearing housing the rubber is going bad
