JBL issues on new boat.

@txav8r, just bite the bullet and do it Trust me.
here's my take on the JBL radio issue. I don't think there is a fix for the radio problems. My buddy owns an 08 SX 210 his JBL radio works awesome. that's probably when they cared. JBL realized the day we're losing their contract with yamaha so they didn't care. they just built broken radio and sent them to yamaha so they could fulfill their orders.

The funny thing is it worked at the demo, it worked the 2 hours we used it, it worked in the barn a couple of times. Then all of a sudden, I open the door to the cd, and wham.

Typically electronics fail in the first phase of usage.

Probably where it is going then...pushes my main mod farther away...I can't spend $3K in one sitting! Gotta have batteries, switch, ACR, busses, switch panel, speakers, amp, sub, wiring, fuses...and now an HU AND REMOTE...and I haven't even settled on a new name for the boat! Danny, you have no idea what a bargain you got! lol

Mine does the exact same thing yours does. I unplugged the rear remote and now it works great. Read about this "fix"on the other website.

Let's put this info on THIS website! Did you unplug the remote from the back of the HU to fix?
