JetBoatPilot JetWash Deflector DOES NOT Work With Yamaha's Wake Booster!

We wanted to post this bulletin here as we know many of you will share the word with others who may ask.

Today we got some feedback from two of our customers who have been running the new 24 foot JetWash Deflector in tandem with Yamaha's Wake Booster. Their findings?

DON'T DO IT!

This image is an example of what can happen when the flow of water coming off of the booster comes into contact with the side of the JetWash Deflector.View attachment 123798

Here is an image of our updated website text regarding the combining of the two products.

Some are going to ask so I'll answer this here. Last year some Thrust Vector Wake users had some success combining the jetwash deflector and the booster, but bear in mind that this was the original narrow white deflector, not the new wider black deflector. We have advised for 24 foot boat owners to send back those older deflectors in favor of the new wider pivoting version so this will not likely be something that will continue to happen in the future. Again the wider pivoting black jetwash deflector will not work in tandem with the wake booster.
Aloha is there a deflector compatible with 255xd yet?
