Yep, about 2 hours away from Myrtle. I started on A-10s 18 yrs ago and miss them everyday. Silent killer.

I'd actually love to tackle the variable geometry nozzle idea. We've thrown it around in a few meetings over the years and I have already come up with the name for it if and when we make an attempt. When I was a crew chief on F-15 Fighters back in the 90's we referred to the variable nozzles as "Turkey Feathers". I always thought that was a cool name!

I also didn't know you were a prior crew chief. I flew Eagles back in the day, but unfortunately I fly a desk more than a jet these days.
