JetBoatPilot SeaDek Faux Teak Group Buy

What will the difference be between the faux teak Swim Platform that costs $419 and the one that will be $340?

Cheaper product or material? or same product just better price now?

I believe I read earlier in this thread that it will be the same material, just a less intricate cut / design.

Yes lets machine time lowers cost of goods. We pass that on to you.

Is it still as good (same quality)?

I don't mind paying more for a better product but if the COGS is simply lower but the product is the same that is great too.

Whatever I buy I want it to last longer than what came on my boat. The swim deck started shedding after 2 years.

The material is the same. Just how we machine it lowers price. We can turn out more mats per hour so cost goes down. Good for you and good for us.

Will,

At the price levels you posted above, what is the mat thickness?

6mm same as the teak.

We will be doing one in the fall. We did just lower prices with the addition of our new style choices. Which style were you wanting?

We wanted the faux teak but looks like it's still the same price.

Yes, the price did not go down on Faux Teak. We dropped prices by offering less complex patterns.

I am in the market for a set of grey faux teak seadek mats for my AR240 - thoughts?

Installed mine in the beginning of the season and absolutely LOVE them so far. . . . Everyone who has been on the boat this season has commented on how nice they look and feel.

Where did you buy yours? I can't seem to find them anymore - I thought JBP sold them - they have all the other models but looks like none for the 2014 AR240.... :-(

Right here on this group buy thread. . . . . . @JetBoatPilot - Do you have any 2014 AR240HO stock for this gent?

Yes we do. I will check the site this morning to see if there is an issue with the product.

I love my sea dek. I would hug it if I could.
