JL Audio Loud OVERKILL stereo on a 2015 AR240?

A very good question. Yes, front (in-boat zone) to rear (tower zone) fade is critically important.
In order for the HU to be useful as 'the' zone control it has to a) be mounted on the starboard dash at your fingertips, b) contain a pre-amp fader with at least two pair of RCA outputs , and c) have a fader that is not buried in the menu so that it is instantly accessible.
He can probably discern all this by just knowing the brand and model of the HU.

Thanks David,

I figured I would just relay the model to the expert! Lol

Boat doesn't come for a couple days though and I was looking for a headstart. Guess I'll have to learn some patience unless someone knows exact HU on 2015 AR240?

Nobody knows the exact model # of the Polk Head Unit on the 2015 AR240?

Thanks.

Check out my JL system in my description. Let me know if thats what you want to di and have any questions on sound/performance.

I have taken everybody's advice here and written Odin about upgrading 2015 AR240 sound system. He asked if stock radio has zone control.

My boat/owners manual won't arrive for a couple days. Anybody able to help me answer his question?

Thanks in advance

No sure exactly what he means by zone control but, I wired up the aftermarket audio system in my 2015 AR240 and the OEM radio has Front and Rear RCA outputs ( aka fader control ) ready for amplifiers to be installed.
I ran an RCA cable from the OEM radio to my EQ .... then Front / Rear / Sub RCA cables to the amplifiers.

Yes.....HLCD's love power....and one sub done correctly will have a heck of an impact. I went from 2 10"s in a sealed enclosure, to 1 12" in a port tuned enclosure this year and the difference is nothing short of amazing.
Where u put the sub?
