Thanks to everyone who helped me with my issue! Figured I'd post a short video just to show. By no means was I at top speed but she sure does cut on a dime!! Thanks again!

Do explain lol are you talking about fast forward then reverse to have the wake overcome the back of the boat!? Not doing that with my 4 year old haha

No,no,no. The bow of the boat goes under water. C'mon, your 4 year old will love it. So would we. Actually, you've put too much work into your boat. Enjoy the heck out of the rest of the summer with your kids.
