Keel Guard Dilemma

hmm maybe we are talking about 2 different things. i was talking about the first metal cross support of the trailer. back by the taillights but middle of the trailer. this is usually where boats like to hit if the bunks are too low.

No I have those too, they all have yellow rubber things on them. I'm talking about the one up near the bow. It's a white V bracket that the bow sits on.
 
Pretty sure all trailers that are factory are Shoreland'r, aside from the older ones which are MFI. If you have a continental trailer then I believe that's not a factory trailer. In which case troubleshooting would not be the same.

Can you take a pic of the V bracket and post it here. My Shorelander doesn't have that.
