Keel Guard

What size Keel guard did you buy for your 19' Yamaha Boat?

Not necessarily true, if you hit a ramp, submerged log, etc it could definitely save the day or at very least minimize the damage
I like the idea of going all the way..I was think of adding a short one back there, maybe 6ft
 
You cant do that. The fwd end has to be out of the water while under way. It will eventually release from the water psi hitting that edge all the time. If i remember correctly that is right in the instructions.
