The more I use mine the more I love them! I get lookers all the time because of the moves I can do at the dock now.

"I get lookers all the time because of the moves I can do at the dock now"

There is something wrong with that declaration.

I installed the Lateral Thrusters and the Thrust Vector XV Combo on my 2017 242 Limited s e Series last Thursday. Best investment ever!! So much more controll at slow speeds it isn’t even funny!! Very easy install while following the YouTube videos.

Anot her satisfied lateral thruster user!
Only had one outing (unfortunately) so far this year because of family commitments and crap weekend weather - launching the boat from the ramp and taking it home to the lift - but just that one run was enough to convince me this is the best mod yet.
We have an elevator lift on a canal. Neighbor's boats are nearby and there's occasional crap floating around so it's tight. There's a lot going on docking and getting onto the lift, especially when solo or if there's a cross wind. That said, getting the boat in isn't too difficult, particularly when I finally mastered the 'sideways' move but I've always relied on a rope around the stern post (near the middle of the engines) to keep things stable. That
But this was a game changer. In the boat by myself, pulled up to near where I could grab the front post, swung the stern in with the aid of the new lateral thrusters and hit the up button while at a low throttle setting. Boat stayed put. When the lift caught the bottom, I shut the engines and all done. No supplemental lines to hold, no struggling to get it in just the right place.
Cool!
