Ok so when the engine is off and just floating a ton of water is in the boat, like 4-6" - but when I get it going and check while moving there is barely any. Bilge pump pumps like crazy while sitting. Last time out I checked for leaks while putting on trailer. No water coming off transom, just by ride plate and the jet - so I pull the plugs and barely anything comes out.. Any ideas what to check? I have had the boat for years but only use a few times a season and know little about jet boats.. just wierd how there is so much water in engine compartment and towards bow while sitting, then magically none while moving. Maybe bilge works better while engine on idk..

or you need a new intermediate bearing

Scupper??? Syphons out as your going, leaks in while sitting.

Or a leak around the bilge plug. Sometimes the sealant around the plug fitting leaks. Could then get the same suction effect while moving...

I think I may have this same issue. Although it could be a leak in the cleanout tubes.

@On the lake77 glad to have you on board,

with a 1995 sugar sands our knowledge base is getting thin, @Bilmon might have a good suggestion,
