image.jpeg image.jpeg hello all,
My name is Jerry.
After eight years my grandfathers boat the "white knuckle express" is in the water.
I'm new to the whole jet boat scene. And my uncle is giving me driving lessons. This thing is a monster.
16 foot rally sport samurai, ford 428 cobra jet pushing a Berkeley jet drive. Engine hasn't been dynoed but I guess around 600 after the recent rebuild. Super cool, super fast.
That being said, the maiden voyage was this past weekend, after an awesome weekend with only a few minor hiccups I was very pleased. Noticed a little bit of water in the oil. Took it back to the guys at pro boat in Woodstock, ga and they confirmed a crack in the exhaust manifold. (From the 70's)
I was calling on the jet boat community to point me in the right direction for a set of pipes/headers for such a rare engine that go over the back.
I've searched but all I can find is automotive applications.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Welcome Aboard, she looks like a fast boat!

"White Knuckle Express" indeed!! Holy cow that little monster of yours is amazing!

Have to ask the obvious question here -Top speed?

What a great name your Grampa gave that boat! Love it!

More pictures!
Would help with exact parts as well.
Found this on ebay with a quick search:

Love the boat man! And more pictures!
Yeah, I saw that one.
Those are collectors similar to what I have now.
They rob the horsepower. I was trying to find some actual marine water cooled headers. Extremely difficult thus far with the engine. And I will add so,e more pics soon.
Thanks for looking!

I haven't clocked it yet.
Last time it was clocked it was 89mph. But that was ten years ago.
Add almost 100 horsepower, we will see.
There isn't much I can't run down. Lol.

Welcome aboard @White Knuckle Express. I wish that I had more info for you, but I'll bet guys like @Glassman with a lot of river jet boat experience might have more insight.

Anyway, I love the boat and would love to see any more pics that you've got.

welcome @White Knuckle Express awesome machine ! Where you located and where those pics taken at ?

I swear I saw one of these rock our lake this past Saturday !

Looks like a GA registration.

I'm in Georgia north of Atlanta, those pics were from last weekend on lake Lanier.

Welcome aboard. . . . . I did 93mph in a 17' Rogers with a 455 Olds about 20 years ago. Felt like 193mph (which I have done on a bike). . . . Love those go fast boats.
