In cooperation with Jetboaters.net we would like to present to you this Limited Edition Jet Boat Junkie T-shirt.

It will only be available for order between now and Tuesday August 5th. Shipping is $3.85 for the 1st shirt you order and $1 for each additional shirt. This is a "crowd sourcing" campaign. We will need at least 12 orders placed by next Tuesday or the shirts will not be made. If the shirts do not get made, you will not be charged for your order.

All profits from the sale of these shirts will be donated to SuicidePreventionLifeline.org in memory of Evan Peoples, a young boy from my neighborhood who recently committed suicide. Here is a link to his story.

Prices are $12.75 + shipping for Hanes Tagless Tees and $13.75 + shipping for Canvas Ringspun Tees which are supposed to be a little higher quality than the Hanes.

Orders can be placed here; http://teespring.com/jetboatjunkie3

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

Order placed! I like the Canvas Ringspun. I might have my wife iron on a printed graphic just because :-).

I love the charity you picked - it's pretty close to home for me. My childhood best friend of about 24 years decided to take his life this year leaving behind 3 kids and a wife. It's absolutely a great cause to donate to.

Thanks sysinu! I was able to design the shirts at work, but our computers won't let me place a purchase, so I will have to wait until tonight to place my order.

Enjoy your new shirt!

This one should be in the swag forum. This is how I do my clothes shopping.

The problem with having a "shop" is that the materials need to be on hand and available at any time. If you order the cheapest t-shirt available from our swag shop it is $28.60 delivered.

A "crowd source campaign" like this one has the advantages of knowing exactly how many shirts are going to be needed, and having the luxury of printing them all at once. Since they have these advantages, they can offer the shirts cheaper. The cheapest shirt offered with this sale is $16.60 delivered, and the more expensive shirt is $17.70 delivered to your door. And don't forget these shirts are made in the U.S.A!

So far 6 shirts have been sold. We only need to sell 6 more and they will be getting printed and delivered within 7 - 14 days.

I really hope that in the future our community of jet boaters can use this formula to sell shirts once or twice a year and donate all of the profits to other worthwhile charities. How cool would it be for us to be able to purchase new shirts a couple times per year at a great price AND help those in need?! If we can really get behind this and pledge to buy big numbers of shirts, the cost per shirt will go down and the margin per shirt will go up, meaning more money will be donated to deserving charities.

Thanks everyone!

Got mine ordered, thanks!![flag]

Thanks for the orders guys! I hope you like the shirts. The goal is to sell 12 shirts, 11 have been purchased. As long as one other shirt is purchased, they will be made. If it comes down to it, I will buy the last shirt (I'm thinking the orange will be pretty cool, but I'm not sure my wife would be crazy about me having 3 of these shirts!).

If more than 12 shirts are sold, it will just mean more money for charity. If the thread dies and isn't getting anymore interest by Monday morning I will probably end the sale early so the shirts can start getting made and shipped out.

Ever going to get more of these made? Or did I miss a recent post? I just graduated to Jet Boat Junkie!!! WOOHOO!!

Rats! I missed it. It says ordering is closed because the campaign met its goal.

This post was from August 2014 :). I still have my 3 shirts and I wear them all the time. They are good quality, and the price was really great. If there is interest I suppose we can do it again.

Id like to get a shirt with the Jetboaters.net logo
