I have a 2012 Yamaha 242 Limited S the other night the fuse blew, where is the fuse for the bow light and stern light located ?

I think they are on a breaker. Try pressing the rubberized reset button next to the switch.
I tried that, didn't reset, I think it's a fuse just don't know where it's located, It's not in the two fuse boxes in the engine compartment.

No fuse that I could find in the Service Manual the breaker is used instead of a fuse.......you can run a continuity checker on the breaker to make sure it has a completed circuit when pushed in............The SWITCH has a diode that can go bad I'll be honest I have forgotten how to check a diode, it has a few rules like neg on the multi meter is positive and red postive is negative and you need to test diode in both directions and I think if you get 0 in both directions it burnt out................. its been 45 years.....I'm sure you tube can help you out their.

You will need a multi meter for sure.

I pulled my 3a breaker and installed a 3a automotive fuse (full size fuse, not the mini) in its place. The fuse blades just plugs into the terminal connector. But a DMM could also test the breaker. My old breaker would not ‘reset’ any more.
