Ls2000 engine keeps dying

NEED HELP. I recently purchased a 2002 ls2000. Love the boat , but at full speed and or a large wave kills the right engine. Also maybe related the tach for that engine does not work. Any ideas ? ?
 
Tape a coin above the safety shut off switch under the clean out plug access hatch for that engine. It might be out of adjustment, just a bit.
