for what it's worth, I dock stern in but was initially installed bow in. I don't know if I'm causing any damage to the lift but the boat seems happy. And boarding is soooo much better.

That being said. I can only do that after installing the lateral thrusters. Before I sucked at backing in
I asked the installers if I could dock stern in with bow in install. They didn't recommend due to the tank setup and where the bulk of the boat's weight is. Would love to check out your setup and compare with mine. I may just start doing that too because it would be waaaaay easier.

As for backing in...see #3 in my OP ?? Will probably order the 2.0 laterals sooner than later.
