It’s the Sam unit and they want $1400. Can buy the part but it needs to be programmed to my Vin by the dealer. They won’t do that and let me do the install.
The programming doesn't always need to be done by the dealer. There are tools available to independent garages that allow them to reflash (program) ECUs. You just need to find a reputable independent with the capability. In my area there is also a mobile guy who subcontracts to shops to do their reflashes, you could ask around in your area to see if there is someone like that.
One of two things, blow a fuse, or if it doesn't, you still won't have a left turn signal but you'll have two different ways to turn the 4-ways on. Lol
