I have the grey cover, and have noticed the last 2 times I've taken off the cover to prep for taking the boat out, the boat is covered with this fine dust. The dust appears to be coming from the cover as I can shake it up and get a bunch flying around.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I guess I'll wash and/or vacuum the cover. Probably need to treat it with some water resistant protection as well.

I had the same thing happening last year. Laid the cover out of the ground and scrubbed it with a deck brush on both sides. Stopped the dust. Then I applied the 303 fabric guard to seal everything up. No leaks and no dust. :D

Its pretty common as the surlast fabric starts to fade and age, that it also starts to powder. Do you store your boat covered outside?

Uh-oh. I suspect the death of a cover soon.

That's what mine was doing, I laid it out scrubbed it and washed it on both sides. Week later I took it off and more dust. I replaced it after that, it was getting brittle and I might as well had put a screen door over the boat the way it leaked.

I do store outside, in the Texas heat with no shade.

I will wash the cover and treat again. I've only had the cover for 1 year so hoping I can extend it to at least 2 more years.

@Edward, glad you asked - noticed the same thing with our (black) cover this year. Going to try the wash/scrub/303 and, sigh, budget for a new one...
