Mounting a GPS/Fishfinder on a 2011 SX 210

I am looking for advice on to where to mount a GPS/Fishfinder on my 2011 SX210. I will have the transducer mounted on the stern. I hear a lot of good things about the SIMRAD GO7 XSE, however I am also open to other makes and models. Most of my fishing will be in bays to include the Chesapeake. So recommendations for other makes and models are also greatly appreciated.
