MR-1 crank, no start, bad compression

I know this is late (I just saw this) but when I looked at your shop why can't you just put a chain around (or through) a steel beam and then put a small manual chain hoist lower down on the chain. Then you can just pull the engine. I used this method for years for pulling car engines. You can spend more to have an electric one but for the few times you use it manual works good. Just get the back of the boat in, pull the engine and take the boat back out.

Good luck on both engines. This has become quite the adventure and it seems costly as well.
 
There are no steel beams in the shop over the bay, just the wimpy girts. The stuck valve doesn't explain the water oil contaminating. I might have 2 separate issues. The bad plug threads are on the jet ski head, not messing with that for now.
 
I'm just spitballing here, but it seems like quite a disparity in hours of operation between port and starboard engines during specific rpm ranges. I wonder if perhaps the previous owner had problems with the port engine with relation to the sticky valve and then tried to run the boat on just the starboard engine without clamping the port water pickup hoses. That wouled at least explain your water intrusion.

That's a good point. There is over 8 hr disparity over 8000 rpms between the engines. I'll have to verify the port is the low engine to confirm, but that might be the cause. I did check the oil multiple times on the test run and didn't notice the milkshake on the dip sick, but it's possible it was there and I didn't see it. The po didn't know shit about boats.
