Ha yeah I understand. I was terrified everytime my wife drove our boat. She got too upset trying to idle through no wake zones because the boat was all over the place. I’m assume a v drive tracks better at no wake. By the way love that V8 rumble in your cruise video. Nice lake too.
I'm getting a custom swim platform cover made by Josh Nance. I thinking I'm going to have him use blue threading on the same light gray material as my cover. The blue is just a little off from my ultra blue but I don't think anyone would really notice the difference and besides its just s cover I'll use when storing the boat or trailering. Mainly adding the blue just for some pop and contrast out back. What do y'all think? Blue threading or not? Some examples below of his custom swim deck covers and two pics he just sent me while making some test samples of the blue thread vs his standard thread...
Cover arrived today and it’s excellent quality and craftsmanship. Really nice snug fit and I like the fact I can tow with it on and not worry about it flying off. Anyone needing some custom upholstery done definitely reach out to Josh Nance and see if he can help. He was super helpful and fast answering all of my questions.
A big chunk of metal and lots of other metal in the ass end. That and bikini tops as mentioned
But seriously I have boat buckles from my Yamaha trailer but I just never get around to installing them by the time I pick the boat up and head to the lake. Boat doesn’t move on the trailer but need to install the buckles one day just in case.
I swung by my dealer today to get some measurements for possible custom speaker box behind the helm in the future. Sharing these pics in case anyone else needs these dimensions for a project in the helm storage area should they get a Max.
