Ok, there are plenty of these threads alive and out there. I have sifted through them. But every one of us has different descriptive themes that define our lives/family/careers/hobbies/and other interests. I had a great name and great boat. I feel a name should stay with a vessel, unless the new owner wants to change, and that is fine too (not too superstitious about this). But my name with with the boat, the Nauti Dawg. It was themed after our Boxer, Chester, who is anything but naughty. But we love him and he loved the boat, so a nautical dog he was and still is for that matter. Now we have a new boat, It is a gorgeous blue 2012 SX 240. I kind of thought since I fly for a living, maybe one of the following. Past that, I am lost. Clara doesn't seem to want to stay with the Nauti Dawg theme, and not crazy about these either. Can you help?
These are what I came up with...
The Blue Yonder
Wild Blue Yonder
Blue Yonder
Several relatives and friends have commented that a 3 word name is too long. What do you think? I also forgot to share a few things. Clara is an RN, and is currently a Hospice nurse and case manager...she loves that work. I fly a 737 for AA. Love boats, Yamaha specifically. And in work and play, a jet jockey. But I don't need to put that in the name. Plenty of other things but lets start with this and see what kind of feedback I get, then I will work on focus as we go. Thanks!

My personal opinion coincides with 3 words is one too many. For me, it is aesthetics with the grab handle on the back.

I love Blue Yonder, actually, but will definitely give it some thought! I think boat names and ramp stories are two of my fav types of threads. We should start a ramp stories thread with all the new folks on this site! I didn't think to copy that one from the other site - I think I can still get in over there, haven't tried in a month or so, though. There was some funny, funny stuff on there that would be worth a re-read.

That's kind of catchy...I need a glass of wine to do this. I need to go finish my guide post install. Posts are on, got to wire the LED's. Had to come in here and look up the wiring colors. Brown is running lights, white is ground.

I tend to like names that have more than one meaning, i.e. "Group Therapy". I like my adult beverages, also, when we're all on the boat, i.e. the group, it's therapy for us.

That reminds me I still need to name our LS2000, I am going to go with something Hawaii related like Sea Turtle or Waikiki Beach, etc.
