Need a name for the new vessel!

That looks really nice, Mel.

Mel, it looks like you are ready to sell her! I mean its all done now so time to move on? HEHE! :P

What?! I am in the middle of the stereo upgrade and haven't even got to the chartplotter yet, nor have I invented the anchor that fits in the locker! Hold on to your horses @Murf'n'surf , I ain't half done!

Resurrecting an old thread here; I’m looking for an aviation themed name myself.
I spent my youth flying the C-141 Starlifter and C-5 Galaxy. Still flying cargo for a living.
Has anybody came up with some new ideas?

Some of my thoughts are:

Crew Rest
Happy Landing
Super Sonic
Mach Nothing
Jet Wash
Firebird (old squadron)
The Hangar
Flight Risk
Sea Stories. (Sturgill Simpson song that speaks to me)

Mach Nothing is hilarious. I also like flight risk. I was 4th MAPS out of Rhein Main so I'm familiar with the 141 and Fred.

I like Firebird! I was with 436 MAC at Dover; saw way too many aluminum boxes come back in C141's. Thank you for your service!

Icarus
Phaeton
Pegasus
Atlas ( you know for holding earth on his shoulders )

All these aviators needing nautical names. Too bad "JetBoat Pilot" is already taken! Lol

I personally like "Jet Wash", but don't think Goose would be all too found of it.

Either way thank you for your service sir.

C Faring or C Farer?

Sea Cargo

Sea - 141
Sea - 5

@Bennie, I really like those!

Sea-141 is now on the VERY short list.

That airplane took me to 65 countries on 6 Continents.

If you listen to that Sturgill Simpson song, “Sea Stories”, you can understand why it speaks to me.

I hit 48 countries, 4 conflicts (Kuwait, Somalia, Bosnia, Rwanda) in 4 years. Loved (almost) every minute of it. Sea-141 is a winner. Only those who flew on it would get that reference.

Since I’m a pilot went with these two names Jink and Tail End Charlie 5603ACAF-4D93-4F2B-97A3-7F876BE5BC5D.jpegD6DF8116-FA5F-4214-8906-F2F4D7800EDA.jpeg
