Need a name for the new vessel!

At least Blue Titanic! lol

I wish there wasn't an airline called Jet _ _ _ _ . That would be perfect...insert the color of my boat. I ain't advertising for the competition, and I ain't putting my company on there either! Unless they want to rent space on my transom like @jawsf16 ! lol

They need a term of affection! We take pride in these vessels, and spend an inordinate amount of time with them, in thought of them, and because of them...they are worthy of a name. I lucked out on the first Yamaha...the Nauti Dawg was a great name, and could just refer to it as "the dawg". So I am shooting for something that rolls off the tongue the same way.

How about Naut Jet?

Too much like Jet Blue

I have it!!!!@ uhhumm "clearing my throat"

" THE BOAT"

BLUE BOAT BLUES

"Das Boat" ;)

  • himmelblau - sky blue
  • Blaues Auge - blue eye - black eye, shiner, periorbital hematoma
  • Blauer Fleck - blue spot - hematoma
  • Blaues Blut - blue blood - nobility
  • jemanden grün und blau schlagen - to beat somebody green and blue - to beat somebody up pretty badly
  • blau sein - to be drunk
  • türkis - turquoise
  • graublau - grey-blue = greyish blue, periwinkle
  • blau machen - making/doing blue, i. e. skipping work
  • blauäugig sein - to be blue-eyed, i.e. to be naïve

I did the same Mike, I looked up all the blue related words, meanings, and references...I'm just not feeling the language references or true "blue" references. One of you guys is going to put up something that either hits it out of the park, or brings me back to what we have already said...and that will be it. I have still considered the Blue Yonder. And the three word thing keeps getting me down. Some things just sound good...until you consider what you will actually refer to it as.
Like Wild Blue Yonder. What do you call it? the "blue yonder", the "yonder"? I can't deal with that. Blue Naut Down/Blue Knot Down...could call it the Blue Naut, Blue Knot.

Blue Hair? Hehhe I never was really thrilled with the name my wife and kids picked, probably because it's one of those three word names. 'Just Add Water' we were trying to find a theme around Memory Maker, Making. Memories, Family Time, etc. something like that, but they all seemed over done. Then when we bought this house and the Lake was at an almost historic low and the dock was sitting on dry land... So in order to make family memories we needed to "Just Add Water"

I like the evolution of the name @cane.mba ! Nice! I am guessing you got the needed water? @SuperJetDan that might be more appropriate than you know...but you don't in your wildest imagination think she will let me name it that do you? lol

The best we ever came up with was Dual Porpoise (purpose)... but it just never really stuck, and a logo something like this:

Oh, but we have settled on a name for our retirement boat:

"Unavoidably Detained"

I think that's perfect... especially when it's sitting on the trailer...

@txav8r Since you brought it up, the obvious choice is 'Southwest'. It's not like Jet Blue at all!!
