Engines start up no problem. Starboard engine has no response to movements in the throttle.

My dealer sent me instructions to manually reset the forward reverse cable which I did but I have no response of any kind when moving the throttle.

Unfortunately I have a large weekend of outing planned and this will squash any guests,

This happened while I was in reverse. Went go forward and received the error message.

After my sencond try with the manual reset it worked. Not that difficult of a reset. Glad my dealer was able to send instructions at 6pm on a Saturday!

If you could post those "reset" instructions for future reference when you get a chance, we'd appreciate it!

Enclosed are the instructions for resettting the throttle. The problem occured when I was quickly switching from forward to reverse while parking. The result was a BCR Error and the Starboard throttle had no response at all.

Sounds like we could use an FAQ add from the [USERGROUP=3]@Administrative[/USERGROUP] ...

Thanks for posting, but that seems to be a TSB to correct a factory shift cable swap - did that fix your problem?

Yes. It is a reset.
In step 5, if your cable functions with the manual control, (no cable install needed) It states to skip to step 11.

This worked to reset my throttle.
