So I was poking around in a 2019 212 yesterday and it has these composite snap in mats sans the carpet or seadek. Whats your take on this new flooring option

Saw it at the boat show, seems like a real nice product. The snap-in seadek is kinda crappy, and the composite material will give you the benefits of the carpet without the stink, it seems.

Will be replacing my snap-in seadek with the gluedown type at the end of this season, most likely.

That stock snap in Seadek type mats, is made by Marine Mat. I looked into it cause was thinking I could go that route and use the stock snaps and not have to remove them. But found out the material is not the same and not as durable as Seadek. Plus just like the carpet kit would still need to be removed and washed after every outing. That being said Seadek is the way to go IMO.

I have a 2019 212x with the custom "Seadek" type flooring. I like it but not sure how long it will last, I was only able to get the boat out once last year.
