New 300hp rotax for scarab. Single or twin.

Thank you for the info . My boat has twin 300s that are supercharged . I ran the boat through a wide range of throttle positions and the engines sync up at 2500 RPM's but start to differ after that , the higher the RPM's the larger the gap gets . I monitored this on both the analog and electronic tachometers.

How far past the break-in hours are you? How many hours on your boat?

On my boat I have a screen with an option to sync up the engines. Never used it but it's there. Do you have that screen?

and you have over 5 hrs on the engines now? I also have the twin 300's. So when you floor it - are you close to 8k rpms on both or does it always have 1 engine much lower?

The boat has five hour +- now . I have not opened the throttle all the way up , but got close, about 6900 RPM's on the starboard . The port motor was around 5400 RPM's . I also opened the engine cover while we were running and the same motor had a noticeable "shake" to it . I made the call to the dealer at that point and a rep told me to bring it to a shop. Here's my big rub; that was on the 17th of May . As of this morning they still haven't looked at the boat yet. I understand the fact that I didn't purchase the boat from the dealer the repairs will be made at , but they are both Scarab dealers and you would think for the brands sake be a little more accommodating .

FYI - the # 2 cylinder was not firing due to a wring not being connected. Ugh. 4 weeks to find that out.
